建立区域监控中心，实现大坝群统一安全监控和管理，是今后大坝安全监控系统发展的方向，本文在分析研究了国内外大坝安全监控系统和安全监控分析评价模型的基础上，充分吸收了最新的通信、计算机网络和软件技术，重点研究了大坝群安全监控远程网络系统若干关键技术。主要内容包括： ( 1 )分析了我国大坝安全管理的现状、特点及发展趋势，充分利用现代通信、计算机、网络技术，结合国内外发展现状，研究了远程网络条件下大坝群安全监控和管理的实现方案，提出了基于远程网络的大坝群安全监控平台。
